I never thought I would commit to this.
So I did one of these a couple months ago for The Hobbit, and I don’t know about anyone else, but I find these hecka fun, so I decided to kick off the summer with one for Harry Potter because, *ahem* why on earth not? And you have no idea how many questionnaires there are for HP…this took me a while to find…=.= Warning: This is a bit long…#sorrynotsorry but technically that’s not my fault. Spoilers ahead…
I kept my heart in a box.
Every morning I’d open the lid and wind it up. It would creak and whizz, as if it would soon shudder to a halt, but it never stopped running, and it always kept me alive.
Until, one day, it was gone. The box lay empty on my bed as I thrashed the room, searching high and low. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I fell to the floor, screaming.
Who would take my heart?
I waited for death, but it never came. Then I heard a soft whisper.
So I raised my head and gasped.
You held my heart in your hands.
Whether it be in class next year, randomly discovering we go to the same college (how epic would that be?), or when we’re up in Heaven.
“Never say goodbye, because saying goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting.” – Peter Pan.
*whispers* I can’t bring myself to write each of you a note, so I won’t. *starts to cry*
But Mara, James, Valari, Tabitha, Sarah, Sam, Julie, Rachel K., Kasey, Jessica, Luke, Kendra, Rachel R., and Anne, you guys have been some of the best classmates ever! I was pretty much convinced Junior year would be a complete drag, but you guys were Sam, while I was Frodo.
It’s been a blessing getting to know each one of you this year, and a couple of you for the second year in a row. If there is any chance I get to meet any of you in person, I’m totally taking it. I won’t even question it if the plan is to meet in the middle of the Atlantic during a hurricane, complete with killer sharks and flesh-eating seagulls.
I can’t wait to see what each and every one of you has in store for your writing, and I wish you all the best in everything! God bless! So, until next time:
